Position: Senior Marketing and Communications Officer

Responsible to: Chief Corporate and Marketing Officer

Job Description

Job Summary:

Planning and coordinating Marketing and Communications activities across all mediums to  raise visibility and improve the Bank’s reputation.  The Bank is undergoing internal culture transformation and focusing on digitalization, thus the candidate must possess change management and strong digital skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As an integral part of the Marketing team, the suitable candidate will work with the Chief Corporate Affairs and Marketing Officer to develop and implement the Bank’s marketing strategy, including content writing, event coordination, and management of third party suppliers.  They will also manage allocated projects, assist with Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, and develop financial awareness initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field with at least 5 years post graduate experience in a similar position.

Key Competences

Must possess strong Marketing and Communications experience, be able to work under pressure and take effective decisions without supervision.  They should be proactive, self-motivated and have strong project management skills, while also being a team player with excellent stakeholder management, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
