Position: Senior Relationship Banker

Responsible to: Signature Branch

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide proactive sales and professional service to the Bank’s exclusive clients by serving as a single point of contact and creatively find solutions that meet customer needs. Effectively manage and develop new and existing client relationships by understanding their respective needs and educating about features and benefits of the Bank’s consumer and business products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the efficient and timely processing of routine transactions and other related services accurately in accordance with policy and procedures and adherence to compliance and internal controls;
• Provide support for new deposit account opening as required and onboard all new clients by cross-selling all products such as Online and Mobile Banking;
• Effectively manage existing client books of business to support the retention and growth of profitable client relationships and counsel clients on their financial needs making recommendations where necessary and appropriate;
• Have full knowledge of all consumer and business banking product features and benefits included and basic knowledge of other products the Bank offers and how to effectively work with other departments to deliver those products to clients;
• Actively interact with customers and conducts sales and service calls to existing and potential customers to ensure existing customer needs are met and to prospect new sales leads;
• Identify and refer sales opportunities to the appropriate line of business that will help fulfill the customer’s needs;
• Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned, either written or verbally in line with the need of the Bank and seniority of the role or approved by the Branch Manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Business, Finance or related field with 3 years working experience in a similar position; or

Related banking qualifications such as Certified Retail Banking III or Diploma in Banking, plus 5 years sound working experience at Banking Officer level in Customer Service, lending, or branch office.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Banking Software.
