Summary of Duties:
- Configure and maintain the networked computer system, including hardware, software and applications. Configure, administer, and maintain the Immigration infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Replace and upgrade defective or outdated components when necessary.
- Administer user accounts, access permissions, and network services in accordance with department policies.
- Research and recommend new approaches to improve the networked computer system. Research, recommend, and implement technology improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Maintain ICT documentation and provide technical support, guidance, and coordination with vendors and stakeholders as required.
Benefits
Salary Band: B3-B4, plus Allowances
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification & Requirements:
- Diploma in Information Technology or related field or equivalent Industry recognized certification by SQA, plus at least one(1) year as System Support Officer or 4 yrs relevant work experience.
- Candidates must be mature, honest, punctual, reliable. He/She should have the ability to work under pressure, and have excellent customer service skills.
