Job Description
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for all procedures associated with sewage pumping operation including fixing hoses; opening of manholes; sealing of manholes after pumping etc.
- To assist the Truck Driver with the daily maintenance of the Combination Tankers
- Cleans and carries out minor repairs on sewers and checks for cracks and leaks in sewerage systems.
- Clean and disinfect areas affected by sewage spillages.
- Clean and repair septic tanks, sewer lines, or related structures such as manholes as and when required.
- Dig; backfill and compact for repairs to pipelines
- Cut damaged sections of pipe with cutters, remove broken sections from ditches, and replace pipe sections, using pipe sleeves.
- Inspect manholes to locate sewer line blockages.
Essential: Must be available for “on call” after hours, holidays, and weekend
Benefits
