- Shipping Agency Operations Officer
Job Description
The Operations Officer is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient management of Mahe Shipping Co. Limited’s diverse range of shipping agency services. This includes overseeing vessel handling, port operations, cargo movement, bunkering, ship chandelling, cruise ship management, and fishing vessel operations. The role also requires ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining high standards of service. The Operations Officer will collaborate with internal teams, port authorities, customs officials, and other external stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role involves both operational execution and client relationship management, with a strong focus on operational excellence, cost management, and regulatory compliance.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics or a related field will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in shipping agency or port operations will be an advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to operational demands.
- Flexible to work beyond normal office hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
- Valid driving licence will be an advantage.
