Reports to: Marine Supervisor
Job Description
- Manage and train subordinates.
- Refuel clean and prepare boat for operations.
- Ensure that all equipment needed is on board, count and keep records.
- Certify that vessel is “ship-shape.” Submit to Transport Officer.
- Record time of departure and arrival on the daily Boat Inspection Report and submit to Transport Officer.
- Assist Passengers whilst on the boat as required.
- Assist Passengers with embarking/disembarking.
- Assist Passengers with snorkelling, assure safety of passengers.
- Assume safety of boats at all times.
- Undertake cleaning/maintenance duties on beach.
- Assist with meal preparation and transportation of stock.
- Carry out scrubbing, chipping and painting during slipping of boats, plus routine maintenance.
- Ensure that safety demonstration is carried out prior to departure.
- Carry out safety demonstration and briefing of Excursion Programme.
- Carry out any related duties as specified by the Manager.
- Assist with barbecue.
