Strategic Analyst
Job Description
The Strategic Analyst is responsible for collecting, researching, and analysing open source intelligence to support the Financial Intelligence Unit’s efforts in combating money laundering, terrorist financing, financial crimes, and other emerging threats. The role involves identifying intelligence gaps, gathering and evaluating information from a wide range of publicly available sources, producing strategic intelligence products, identifying trends and risks, and supporting the development of intelligence-led responses to financial crime. The role also contributes to the enhancement of intelligence collection methodologies and strategic decision making through the provision of accurate, timely, and actionable intelligence.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Data Management, or a related field
- AML/CFT/CPF or Compliance qualification would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of financial services, financial products, and financial crime risks
- Experience with data visualisation and analytical tools
- Excellent analytical, research, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
