Air Seychelles is in search of a Supply Chain Officer to support the Supply Chain Manager & Manager Supply Chain and Commercial to effectively administer all Air Seychelles Logistical and financial process from sourcing, placement of order and settlement of SCAA, EASA and any Customer NAA.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline.
- Raise purchase orders based on best deal as per approval process and retention as per policy in place.
- Provide transparency, compliance, and governance during the process of spares and service sourcing.
- Coordinate with Cargo to expedite and facilitate clearing of consignment based on operational demand.
- Support the Supply Chain Manager and Manager Supply Chain and Commercial (Technical) in ensuring that all queries from suppliers on matters related to settlement of invoices are handled within reasonable time frame to avoid overdue charges.
- Matching of invoices to Purchase orders. Validate legitimacy and accuracy of details
- Compile suppliers’ performance evaluation for annual review.
- Check and monitor movement of purchase orders, Produce monthly report on open/closed orders to the manager.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager on invoices payment process. Liaise with Accounts to ensure settlement of invoices in accordance with agreed terms of payment.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
- Graduate of a post-secondary institution, O’ level/IGCSE in English and Mathematics (minimum grade C)*
- Certificate in Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar role in a technical industry, Ideal: preferably in the aviation business*
- General knowledge in Supply Chain Management (Advantage)
- General knowledge of Aviation (Advantage)
- Possesses a cost-conscious approach to work.
- Good knowledge of accounting
- Familiarity with aviation regulations/requirements and aircraft procurement procedures an advantage
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Excellent planning and time-management capabilities with the ability to work under pressure and to short lead times
- Excellent computer Proficiency (Word, Excel)
- Competent and highly productive
- * Or the equivalent combination of education and experience
