Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot core IP networks, HFC, PON/AON, servers (Windows/Linux), OSS/BSS (billing/provisioning), and related systems
- Execute day-to-day core maintenance, upgrades, performance tuning, and incident resolution
- Respond to and resolve core-level power outages, network failures, and stability issues
- Maintain core network facilities for continuously high performance
- Keep accurate records of problems, methods, changes, and resolutions
- Generate reports on core network health, incidents, and performance trends
- Assist with technical resolution for complex corporate customer escalations and recurring problematic issues (under senior guidance)
- Collaborate with support teams to address root causes of persistent problems
- Support senior engineers on core network/data center build-outs, redesigns, and advanced projects
- Contribute to basic programming/automation for core operational tools
- Participate in training sessions/seminars (local/abroad)
- Flexible working hours, including on-call rotations for core network issues
- Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Core Network Manager / CTO
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years in ISP/telecom core network operations or engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with IP, HFC, PON, servers, OSS/BSS, and basic IPTV/Voice/Wireless core elements
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools, troubleshooting, and multi-vendor equipment
- Basic scripting/automation skills
- Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.) advantageo
