Job Description

To be an integral member of the DIY Diversey Operations team and assume responsibility for the maintenance and repairs of the Diversey hardware located on site at the customer’s properties and provide technical advice on the use of chemical products.  Maintain existing customers as well as drive revenue to increase market share growth.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• The maintenance, repairs and installation of onsite chemical dosing equipment and hardware.
• Carrying out scheduled and emergency service call-outs for all properties both on Mahe and outer islands.
• Identify the customers’ needs and propose the best solutions for chemicals and other products required on site for both Diversey and any other products.
• Promote the sales of all equipment and chemicals and organise presentations / demonstrations in order to increase market share growth.
• Assist with the picking and packing of all orders according to the schedule and ensure that all documentation is handled according to company procedures.
• Assist with re-ordering of products and inventory control to avoid losses to the company.
• Prepare reports and schedules as required.

Job Requirements

Profile

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Possess technical experience in the electronic / engineering field
• Ability to prioritise and multitask with a flexible approach to the workload
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills
• Fluent in English, Creole and preferably French
• Attention to detail with the aim of providing superior customer service
• Possess a valid Driver’s License – Class 2

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Technical field
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel
• Previous experience in a similar position – Maximum 5 years
