Air Seychelles is in search of a Technical Support Officer to maintain and update the Air Seychelles fleet Airworthiness records to ensure accurate and up to date configuration of the fleet and to ensure it meets company’s operational requirements and in line with current regulatory requirements of the SCAA, European Union Aviation Safety Agency, and IATA.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Identify and extract from aircraft airworthiness records Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, modifications, repairs and perform (level 2) indexing in stream software accordingly
- Daily tracking of component removal and installations, updating of in-service history record for each life-limited part and time-controlled components installed on the Air Seychelles fleet ensuring non exceedance of the approved limitation as specified in the Aircraft Maintenance Program.
- Daily tracking of modifications embodied on the Air Seychelles fleet.
- Collate, compile aircraft monthly utilization reports for validation by the manager
- Prepare, Consolidate, Technical Documents for Audits by Air Seychelles Compliance department, Airworthiness department (CMR), Internal auditors, Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (C of A), Aircraft lessors, other Customer airlines, Customer airline National Aviation Authority.
- Daily update of Aircraft hours, cycles/landings on Envision software.
- Tracking of all defects raised on the Air Seychelles fleet to ensure credible reliability data of the fleet.
- Perform amendments to aircraft records within the privilege of the assigned authorization from Airworthiness.
- Ensure all business within the scope is conducted in a timely, cost effective and professional manner.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
- Diploma in Business Studies or O Levels in English and Mathematics with minimum grade C
- A Level qualification in English, Maths or Business Studies
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical industry
- Good understanding of technical records
- Excellent computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- General knowledge of Aviation (advantage)
- Good problem-solving skills
- Analytical and meticulous to details
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to efficiently work independently and as part of a team
- Good administrative proficiencies
