Job Description
Post Title: Technician
Division:Â Policy & Regulatory Affairs
Responsible To: Director- Policy & Regulatory Affairs
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the section engineers in locating, compiling, recording of documents when required.
- Assist the section engineers in ensuring that documents are properly filed and/or stored.
- Assist in the compilation of data on Quality of Service (QOS) and Performance Parameters.
- Assist in the maintenance of QOS and tariff databases.
- Assist in the compilation and maintaining a list of periodic queries/reports required by the section.
- Assist the section Engineers in monitoring of telecommunication infrastructural development.
- Assist the section engineers in monitoring the licensee activities with the view of ensuring compliance.
- Assist the section engineers in monitoring the implementation of the telecommunication legislation, regulations, policies, procedures and code of practice relating to compliance.
- Assist in research work for reviewing of necessary legislation, policies, guidelines, strategies and procedures for development of the telecommunication sector.
- Assist research work on new series and technologies that could be introduced locally.
- Assist in carrying necessary liaison with regional and international agencies/organizations.
- Performs any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs.

Job Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Diploma in Electronics and/or Communications Engineering related field plus Or
- Successfully completed two A Level subjects in the field of Mathematics and Science.
