Purpose

The purpose of this role is to strategically lead, coordinate, and execute trade marketing programs and brand activation initiatives that directly support business growth and brand equity objectives. Working in close partnership with the brand and commercial teams, the Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for translating brand strategies into compelling, market-relevant campaigns that resonate with consumers and drive sales performance at the point of purchase.

Top Accountabilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of brand activations and events, from developing calendars and strategic proposals to coordinating launches, placements, and partner negotiations.
• Oversee all on-the-ground execution, ensuring partner compliance with branding standards, supervising the production/placement of POSM, and maintaining quality and consistency across all touchpoints.
• Design and manage engaging consumer experiences, including booth layout, product zones, giveaways, and overall event execution (pre-event planning through post-event reviews).
• Ensure brand visibility and strong engagement while collaborating with commercial and sales teams to align activation plans with overall trade strategies.
• Monitor campaign progress and conduct thorough I&L (Impact & Learn) reporting for all activations, capturing key learnings, KPIs, budget impact, and consumer feedback.

Job Requirements

Qualifications + Experience

• Degree/Master’s in Marketing management
• 3–5 years in trade/customer marketing, brand activation, or experiential marketing in FMCG or beverage industry
• Experience with trade, digital, and execution
• Project management experience

Key Skills

• Strong skills in campaign planning and activation across trade channels
• Ability to develop and manage promotional calendars and align with sales team
• Expertise in overseeing and executing brand activations and events on the ground
• Proficiency in managing POSM and activation materials for consistency and quality
• Strong insight into campaign progress, conducting evaluations, and reporting learnings
• Experience in collaborating with agencies and external partners for activation proposals
• Creative in designing consumer experiences, product displays, and events
• Ability to align marketing activities with sales and trade strategies
• Strong negotiation skills with key customers and partners
• Data-driven approach to measuring campaign impact and optimizing ROI
