Saturday: 8am – 12noon
Job Description
Summary of Duties
Responsible for the effective and efficient enforcement of the Road Transport Regulations or related duties and control of actions as required by the Road Transport Commissioner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Takes action as and when required to ensure the implementation of Road Transport Regulations and Road Transport Act as and when required.
- Enforces the Road Transport Regulation by patrolling the road networks or any road for the detection of traffic offences such as speeding, drink driving, negligent driving, etc.
- Ensures safety on the road network at all times by doing spot checks as and when required.
- Effects road closures to facilitate safe manoeuvering of traffic in emergency cases.
- Assists the Police Force in initial investigation of any violation of the Road Transport Regulations/Act.
- Prepares reports and case files for prosecution of offenders.
- Performs any other relevant duties as may be required

Training Skills
Police or Security Guard training
Experience
2 to 3 years related experience. Must be conversant in both the English and French language, must be able to write report.
