Post Title: Vehicle Examiner

Responsible to: Manager (Vehicle Examination & Inspectorate Unit)

Working Hours: Normal: 7.30am to 3.30pm

Job Description

Summary of Duties

1. Drives vehicles to be tested through the testing lane.
2. Inspects the interior of vehicles as instructed by the Senior examiner/Manager.
3. Conducts motor vehicles tests.
4. Cleans and maintains the Testing Hall and keeps it in a safe condition.
5. To keep all equipment in good order and to list spare parts requirements as necessary.
6. Undertakes any other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

Education (Special Knowledge)

• Polytechnic Graduate in Motor Mechanic with at least Trade test G3.
• Driving license essential (all categories).

Training Skills

• Supervisor Skills
• Customer Care
• Organizing, writing and communication skills

Experience

• 2 to 3 years satisfactory and relevant experience in Motor Mechanic or testing field or at least 3 to 4 years experience as an Assistant Examiner.
