Job Description

To oversee and optimize the warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient stock movement, timely receiving and distribution of goods to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Main tasks and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• To oversee the daily warehouse operations ensuring efficiency and effectives controls.
• Co-ordinate receiving and offloading containers together with the Procurement & Logistics department.
• Sorting, picking and packing orders for all products in the warehouse for delivery to the floor, and to customers on Mahe and outer islands.
• Identify slow moving items and provide recommendations to management to reduce stock and increase revenue.
• Preparation of the warehouse and counting for stock take.
• Implementing systems to improve controls and efficiency in the warehouse.
• Plan the layout of the warehouse to optimise space and ensure effective inventory control.
• Conducting driving duties.

• Excellent organisational skills
• Flexible approach to handling duties and drive to achieve the company’s goal
• Attention to detail and organised method of working
• Spoken and written English and French
• Ability to work additional hours when required in accordance with the demands of the post
• Ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

• Diploma in Warehouse Supervision
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft application and ERP systems
• Class 2 + 4 Driver’s license
• Ability to operate a Forklift
• Minimum 5 years experiences in a similar position
