Job Description
Summary of Duties
- Logging and monitoring of all movements of vessel traffic within the Seychelles Search and Rescue Region.
- Monitor all incoming information and disseminate to relevant agencies.
- Maintain search and rescue watch on a 24/7 basis, including issuing of navigational warnings.
- Prepare daily briefings and reports.
- Monitor radio distress frequencies.
Benefits
Salary shall depend on qualifications and experience.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Must have at least 5x IGCSE’s at Grade C and above
- Search and Rescue coordination certification or experience (preferred)
- Competent on Microsoft Office and be Computer literate
- Clean Police Character certificate
Selected candidate should be prepared to work on shift basis, including odd hours, weekends and public holidays.
