Job Description
Job Summary
- Responsible for coordinating the organisation of weddings for CTS clients
Duties:
- Co-ordinate wedding requests between Creole Travel Services, tour operators and the hotels and/or other venues.
- Co-ordinate church wedding with respective churches/priest
- Liaise with Civil Status regarding wedding documents, date, time.
- Ensure all required wedding documents are received in due time prior to wedding date.
- Ensure that copies of wedding documents for French nationalities are sent to the French Embassy at least 60 days prior to wedding date.
- Liaise with the hotel for the wedding date/time any special requirements received from the clients etc…
- Liaise with decorator for decorations of other venues other than hotel/cap lazare.
- Ensure that all pre-book services are booked prior to clients arrival at the hotels and/or for other venues.
- Organise briefing session with the hotel & clients to ensure all requirements for the ceremony had been organized (ie venue, flowers, photographer, cake, wine, hairdressing, beauty services etc…
- Input wedding file in the reservations system & liaise with Accounts/Reservation Department for the payment.
- Whenever possible attend weddings at respective hotels.
- Ensure that wedding certificate are processed and given to the clients prior to their departure (especially clients getting married on Praslin/La Digue) as well as photos/cds
- Maximise sale of the Cap Lazare as a Wedding package.
- Develop, promote and market attractive wedding packages, upsell services when liaising with tour operators & clients when they are in destination.
- Update wedding on the website. Work on new wedding packages and constantly revamp the services offered.
- Liaise closely with Rates & Contracting Department for wedding rates
- Compile wedding statistics and prepare periodic report. Liaise with PR & Marketing Dept on a weddings / honeymoons brochure for proper marketing purposes.
- Source out wedding trade fairs and other related shows and forward recommendation.
- Any other related duties that may be assigned
Job Requirements
EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE):
Degree in Tourism
TRAINING (SKILLS):
- Good knowledge of the Seychelles Products
- Computing Skills
- Good Public Relations skills
- Event organization skills
- Research skills
- Good knowledge of the destination in all its aspects
- Knowledge of the different markets
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and French
EXPERIENCE:
Preferably a minimum one year related working experience

WORKING HOURS
42 hours per week with two days off per week
