DEPARTMENT: Port Management and Facilities
RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Operations Officer
Job Description
Summary of Duties
Operations Assistant are members of the Port Management and Facilities teams who monitor and operate the facilities and deliver services to customers to the required standard. Their main responsibilities are to maintain facilities integrity and ensure a reliable availability of supplies and services to customers satisfaction. They do this by troubleshooting minor issues and ensuring service disruptions to operations are minimized.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Centre graduates preferably from Seychelles Institute of Technology (SIT), Seychelles Maritime Academy (SMA) or Seychelles Business Studies Academy (SBSA) or equivalent
- S5 or equivalent level of education IGCSE Maths, English & IT
- 3 years working experience in running industrial level operations of facilities and in service provisions preferably sales
- Working experience in industrial refrigeration plant and fuel depot preferable.
Required Skills

- Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Driving license (an advantage)
- IT/computer skills (an advantage)
