Job Description
Purpose
Lead and grow off-trade sales across Mahé, driving volume, distribution, and visibility in supermarkets, wholesalers, and retail shops. Ensure flawless execution of planograms, promotions, and pricing while building strong customer and distributor relationships. Directly manage the top 10 key accounts on Mahé and oversee the Off-Trade Sales Representatives responsible for mid- and lower-tier accounts across the island.
Top Accountabilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Off-Trade Sales Representatives on Mahé.
- Directly manage the top 10 key accounts on Mahé, ensuring execution of joint business plans and promotional activities.
- Oversee account segmentation, ensuring mid- and lower-tier accounts are effectively managed by the Sales Representatives.
- Negotiate shelf space, displays, and promotional agreements with key accounts.
- Ensure planogram, visibility, and pricing compliance across all Mahé outlets.
- Drive numeric distribution and outlet expansion across Mahé.
- Execute seasonal activations and customer marketing plans to maximise ROI.
- Monitor competitor activity across Mahé and lead proactive commercial responses.
- Track and report KPIs including coverage, volume, distribution, execution score, and reporting compliance.
- Administer the JUBP for the Mahé distributor and manage shipment planning.
- Represent SBL/PBL at trade events and external stakeholder engagements on Mahé.
- Foster a culture of compliance with COBC and Health & Safety standards.
Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or account management, preferably in FMCG.

Proven track record of delivering commercial performance and managing key accounts.
- Experience in leading teams and coaching for capability growth.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Analytical ability to interpret market data and drive informed decisions.
- Proficiency in sales reporting tools, EDGE, and CRM systems.
- Deep knowledge of the Mahé retail landscape and key account relationships.
