Accounts Technician
Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities
- Undertake monthly treasury reconciliation against the general ledger
- Verify, ensure prompt and accurate posting into the system (TIS Application)
- Monthly reporting to Assistant Accountant of revenue status or any relevant issues relating to Accounts receivable
- Ensure that proper accounting procedures are followed towards the control of revenue
- Preparation of monthly salary amendments for submission to Treasury
- Preparation of the creditors and debtors listing control
- Daily banking
- Any other duties assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
- Diploma in Public Finance Management/Business Studies or equivalent qualification in Accounting
- Diploma in Business Studies plus AAT Level 3 or Level 4
- ‘A’ Level in Accounting or Advanced Certificate in Accounting plus three years as an Accounts Assistant
Other Requirements
- Must be proficient with the Treasury Information System (TIS)
- Must be computer literate with basic accounting skills
- Must be able to work under pressure!!!!
