Air Seychelles is in search of Aircraft Technician to assist the Aircraft Engineer to carry out the technical handling of aircraft both in the hangar and on the line, within the scheduled ground time, according to Air Seychelles and Customer Technical requirements.

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

• Drive compliance standard to reflect the company’s policies and processes as per requirements.
• Support aircraft maintenance operation to meet the airlines safety, airworthiness compliance and commercial objectives.
• Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objective of the airline.
• Inform and consult with Engineers to ensure the highest on-time performance with regard to all aspects of aircraft maintenance.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with best industry practices using the approved tooling and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist the Aircraft Engineers to ensure that all aircraft maintenance requirements are met in a timely manner.
• Responsible to monitor day-to-day activities with consideration to operational safety and security related risk.
• Ensure all equipment and tooling are kept clean and serviceable condition.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

Our Preferred Profile

• Complete or be in the process of completing basic MEL Modules towards an ICAO II License.
• EASA Part 66 License.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical role in the aviation industry.
• Previous aircraft maintenance experience.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering projects/areas.
• Valid driving license.
• Good communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Physically fit (This position requires physical exertion such as bending, climbing, kneeling and the ability to work at elevated height and in confined places).
