Cementis (Seychelles) Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support accurate accounting, timely financial reporting, statutory compliance and strong financial controls.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and review accounting entries, journals and supporting documentation.
• Prepare balance-sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting.
• Prepare account analyses, schedules and working papers for management and statutory reporting.
• Assist with supplier, customer, intercompany, payment and cash-flow activities.
• Support VAT, tax, audit and regulatory requirements within agreed deadlines.
• Apply finance policies and internal controls and contribute to process improvements.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Excel for accounting, reconciliation and reporting.

Job Requirements

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• At least ACCA Level 2 or another recognised professional accounting qualification.
• Approximately two to four years of relevant accounting experience.
• Practical experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of VAT, tax compliance and audit support.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and French.
