Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. Ensures excellent guest service, maintains high standards of hygiene and presentation, and contributes to a welcoming bar atmosphere while complying with hotel policies and legal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol in accordance with legal requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or breakages.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock control.
• Handle cash, POS transactions, and ensure accurate billing.
• Upsell beverages and promote bar specials when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, promotions, and ingredients.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience as a bartender is an advantage.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic cash handling and POS system knowledge
• Friendly, confident, and well-presented
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
