Job Description
Summary of Duties
- Prepare monthly invoicing of Electricity and Water customers
- Monitor and ensure that daily meter readings are properly keyed in before updating customer’s records
- Review Variance Reports and prepare service orders for further verifications of meter readings where there has been a significant decrease or increase in consumption
- Carry out adjustment on any accounts wrongly billed
- Communicate to the Meter Reading Unit all reports on meters that are accessible but not being read and follow up afterwards to ascertain if it has been read before updating on the system
- Estimate all customers with basic meters according to their average consumption and print bills for posting
- Advise customers with basic meters of changes before and after meter replacement is effected
- Raise and print service orders for all basic and suspected meter tampering for verification and replacement by electricity and water technicians
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate in Business Studies
- Experience in private commercial sector
