Job Description
Job Purpose
To operate and maintain all utility system such as steam, compressed air, water supply equipment in such a manner as to ensure efficient and uninterrupted steam system, compressed air and water supply to the factory whilst at all times complying with the associated safety rules and regulations and maintaining the factory quality standard.
Duties & Responsibilties
- Perform tests and checks and record all scheduled readings
- Carry out all required breakdown maintenance
- Complete Boiler house log book on every shift
- Check line steam and air pressure inside the factory
- Take required water consumption readings
- Take required power consumption readings
- Monitor water level in Factory water supply tank as well as water supply pressure into the factory
- Ensure proper housekeeping of the boiler house and other associated areas within the factory
- Carry out all preventive maintenance and repairs as instructed by the Boiler Supervisor
- Liaise with the laboratory to ensure proper boiler and factory water quality

Job Requirements
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Certified competencies in electrical or mechanical
- Ability to read and write in English
- 2 to 3 years previous experience in similar position
