Air Seychelles is in search of individuals to join our Cabin Operations team as a frontline guest contact, be accountable for guest safety and satisfaction whilst ensuring compliance to all relevant regulations and standards- Provide all guests with outstanding customer service while ensuring at all times that safety standards are adhered to as mandate by SCAA and outlined in the SEP manual.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline.
- Provide exceptional onboard customer service to passengers while ensuring their comfort and safety, including greeting boarding and disembarking guests, showing passengers to their seats, provide special attention to certain guests such as the elderly or incapacitated, provide in-flight announcements, safety demonstrations, distribute headsets, serve beverages and meals.
- Provide consistent levels of superior guest service and satisfaction by anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations. Demonstrate a positive and energetic attitude when interacting with guests and co-workers.
- Conduct pre-flight duties, including safety and security checks of equipment, inspection of aircraft cleanliness, and checks of provision of supplies.
- Provide assistance and timely communication to guests during emergencies and unusual incidents –delayed flight, severe weather condition, turbulent flight etc.
- Responsible to escalate medium or higher level risks to appropriate management.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
- IGCSE/O’ Level passes in English, French and Mathematics preferred.*
- Relevant work experience, and/or qualification, in a customer service
- Related discipline is desirable*
- Good understanding of Customer Service with a customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, pleasant, approachable, positive and diplomatic.
- Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written. Fluency in French and Creole required: any other language is an added bonus.
- Strong problem solving skills and Strong team player.
- Medically fit and meets regulatory requirements-in good physical health, with good colour vision and hearing, and with the ability to stand for long periods and to travel overseas frequently.
- Ability to swim at least 25m unaided in open water, without a flotation device, is a plus.
- High standard of personal presentation (Post holder will have to comply with grooming requirements for cabin crew)
- Ability to work flexibles schedules including shift work, weekends, holidays.
- Assertive, able to remain calm in emergencies, and capable of Competently handling difficult people/customers.
- Reaches a height of 210cm without shoes.
- Must be able to legally to work in the Seychelles, and to travel to and from all Air Seychelles destinations without restriction and able to obtain Government/airport security clearance.
- Must have previous experience as a cabin crew member.
- Must successfully complete the initial cabin crew training program as a condition of employment.
