CAD Operator (Structural and Civil)

Job Description

1. This position is available to diploma qualified CAD Operator with at least 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering and construction.
2. The Candidate will be able to work with CAD software to an advanced level, including Revit and/or Civil 3D.
3. The Candidate will be able to use CAD programs to produce documentation such as drawings, geo-spatial data, bar bending schedules data, profile alignments and BIM models.
4. Communicating with clients, and Civil Engineers to understand the project requirements and specifications.
5. Checking project briefs, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure it matches the said specifications.
6. Visiting construction sites to check for any design limitations and to gather additional information.
7. Making changes or adjustments to drafts upon receiving feedback.
8. Ensuring all project designs and plans adhere to the industry standard and safety regulations.
9. Mentioning instructions on blueprints using symbols and other special notations.
10. Diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
11. Proven work experience as a CAD Operator, Draftsman , or a similar role in the Engineering department.
12. Familiarity with Revit and Civil 3D.
13. The Candidate must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
