Cargo Officer (1 post) to be based in Mahe  

Job Description

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• Generates daily cargo report
• Supervises the work of the porters as per laid down procedures in the handling accompanied and unaccompanied luggage
• Undertakes closing cargo sales each day as per procedures
• Screen all cargo received in accordance with the quality standards before undertaking formal registration.
• Assist to undertakes stationary stock takings
• Handles cargo according to laid down procedures
• Any other related duties that may assign from time to time

Job Requirements

Minimum job requirements

• Post-secondary education certificate with at least three IGCSE
• Computer literate with proven ability in MS Office Word and Outlook, excel database software
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and French
• Self-motivated and able to work as a team;

Experience

• At least 2 years satisfactory work experience in a customer service environment
• Driving license class 2 plus two to three years driving experience with no accident record
