Air Seychelles is looking for a dynamic individual to lead, manage and oversee all aspects of commercial sales, marketing, pricing and revenue management, charter sales, and interline/codeshare partnership, cargo sales, scheduling, and fleet planning of the business in order to deliver the company’s business and financial growth plan year on year.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Develop, implement, monitor and continuously improve the commercial strategy, supporting the overall company objectives.
- Manage all department functions including revenue management, Local and International Sales, Aero-political, Network planning, Marketing, PR, E-Commerce, Distribution, Product and Guest experience.
- Build the commercial functions capability (people, processes and technology) including management of the Cargo department.
- P&L decision-making and ownership ensuring KPI’s are met, balancing revenue opportunities with cost centres.
- Understand the unique political and economic circumstances of the Seychelles and adapt pricing and revenue strategy accordingly.
- Develop, implement, and maintain proper policies and processes for sales and revenue management. Ensure that the relevant polices support the commercial requirements of the business.
- Constantly identify, build and evolve a comprehensive network schedule, utilizing the assets to maximum revenue potential.
- Develop and grow the airline’s ACMI, Charter, and FBO divisions via a wide range of global industry contacts and connections.
- Create and establish more efficient distribution channels, including assessing the e-commerce presence of the airline.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile
- Degree in relevant discipline such as Sales/Marketing/Economics /Mathematics/Science or Accounting.
- Minimum 10 years related work experience, of which 5 years should be in a senior leadership role in an
- In-depth understanding of airline economics and industry trends specific to regional carriers.
- Significant hands-on experience with airline pricing and yield management tools, yield forecasting techniques and general airline economic data.
- Detailed knowledge of distribution channels required, including experience in GDS and E-Commerce.
- Track record of identifying new revenue opportunities and increasing ancillary revenue.
- Proven excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent decision-making abilities. Ability to make impactful decisions quickly.
