The Seychelles Trading Company is seeking to recruit a dynamic, detailed-oriented and highly motivated individual for the above position.
Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing and coordinating all supplier claims related to shortages, damages, and product quality issues by ensuring accurate verification, comprehensive documentation, and timely resolution. The role serves as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, supports financial settlement and recovery processes, and ensures compliance with contractual and policy requirements. In addition, the position contributes to supplier performance management through structured vendor evaluations and supports management by providing accurate reporting and insights to minimize operational and financial risks.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree Level in Business Management, International Trade, Commerce, Supply Chain Management or relevant field
- with 3-year experience in International Trade
OR - Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) or other industry related certifications are a positive differentiator.
- 3-5 years’ work experience in Procurement, Logistics, Demand & Supply planning, sales Order processing and Freight forwarding in a fast-track commercial Business
