CEMENTIS Seychelles is looking for a dynamic Commercial Executive who will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of the company’s sales and marketing.

Job Description

Scope of the Mission

Implement the right commercial strategies for our cement activities in order to reach the company’s objectives and securing our market share while respecting the group best practices and policies.

Responsible and accountable for the overall commercial function, as well as, the results of the company for our commercial activities.

Act as the key point of contact between Cementis Seychelles and its retail clients for cement; market prospection, while achieving sales target by management.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing Activities

  • Propose market strategies to boost sales;
  • Gather market and customer information – Market Intelligence on competitors actions;
  • Maintain market share objective ;
  • Build and maintain a strong client portfolio i.e. Bulk, Building Contractors, Distributors / Accredited Resellers and Retailers;
  • Regular field visits to clients ;
  • Prepare monthly reports of sales & market evolution;
  • Follow-up bad debtors
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and road shows;
  • Negotiate on price, delivery and specifications with buyers;
  • Advise  on  forthcoming  product  developments  and discussing special promotions;

Planning & Organising

  • Daily
    • Quotations on forthcoming projects – Cement
    • Key customer visits & prospection of new clients / projects
  • Weekly
    • Commercial Meeting
  • Monthly
    • Incentive for customers – Cement
    • Sponsorship Visit

Operations & Cement Logistics

  • Follow-up with daily orders & delivery schedule

Health & Safety

  • Comply with Health & Safety Management and abide by Group policies.

Job Requirements (Profile)

Educational Background / Qualifications:

  • Holder of a Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent

Experience required: 

  • Minimum 7 years in sales field
  • Knowledge of retail market (B2C)
  • Sound knowledge of locations / regions (Geography)

Technical competencies

  • Holder of a valid and clean driving license
  • Computer-literate (good knowledge of Microsoft Pack Office)
  • Negotiating skills
  • Selling skills
  • Good product knowledge
