Job Description

The Job’s main duties and responsibilities are –

• Design and assist management to implement effective internal controls system within the organization
• Implement the internal controls and perform periodical assessment and introduce new internal controls, if needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Manage day-to-day operational tasks, such as opening and closing procedures, security protocols, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Prepare financial statements and other required management reports and liaise with external auditors
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze financial reports to ensure profitability. Implement cost-control measures where necessary
• Set and achieve sales targets, develop sales strategies, and monitor sales performance. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Oversee inventory management, including receiving, managing perishable goods, minimizing variances and maintaining stock levels
• Handle both local and imported purchases and ensure shop is well-stocked at any given time
• Oversee the production process in the bakery production department and manage inventory management and operating procedures within the department.

Job Requirements

• Full/part qualification in ACCA/CIMA/CA.
• At least 5 years working experience in accounting and experience in operation and foods supply-chain industry will be added advantage.
• Valid driving license # 2
