Air Seychelles is looking for a Commercial Operation Systems Manager who will be responsible for the management and efficient functioning of the day to day administration of Passenger Service System (PSS Commercial). Oversee all domestic flight schedules to ensure optimization in order to achieve the company’s commercial and financial objectives.

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Investigate and take appropriate actions in incidents relating to Passenger Service System (PSS), General Service Agency (GSA) Online Travel Agency (OTA), Destination Management company (DMC).
  • Document all Passenger Service System testing and validation, and ensure implementation of updates or new versions in close liaison with the commercial team. Report progress and communicate results and recommendations to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Provide solutions and resolution problem solving in respect to Interline, Codeshare, General Distribution Systems, IATCHI.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Business Engagement, partner airlines, and GDSs to resolve any issues.
  • Analyse domestic schedule thoroughly and recommend additional flights or flight cancellations based on the market demand, cost of operations and the impact on customer service in order to reduce the operating cost.
  • Coordinate all scheduled/adhoc flights, both international and domestic, with all stakeholders (i.e. Outstation, Ground Services, Sales etc) that Air Seychelles plans to operate to ensure all commercial systems of the operations has been completed.
  • Provide support to the Revenue Management team in managing delays, disruptions, and schedule change issue. Additionally, work closely with operations to come up with solutions for the re-accommodation plan when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder preferred, ideally in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 6 years work experience in a related/similar role.
  • Excellent influential, interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. Able to influence and interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and third parties.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to work competently under pressure.
  • A strong team player and team leader.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, confidential and trustworthy.
  • Excellent computer literacy with proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of Airline Fares & Ticketing.
  • Good understanding of Airline industry standards.
