Air Seychelles is in search of one Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager responsible for ensuring that Air Seychelles’ Flight Operations, Operations Control/Dispatch, & Cabin Operations comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including EASA Air Ops, IOSA Standards and SCAA directives. The role provides independent oversight of operational compliance while leading the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System across assigned operational scopes. By managing audits, in additional in liaison with the flight safety office, assist with the management of safety reports for the mentioned scopes to include safety reporting, investigations, risk assessments, & safety assurance activities.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Liaise and coordinate with Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) and other oversight authorities on regulatory audits, findings management, and compliance verifications.
- Coordinate and facilitate audits conducted by external authorities and organisations such as the SCAA, IOSA, customer airlines and manage audits of Air Seychelles external service providers and oversight partners under contractual obligations.
- Ensure that audits are conducted as per approved Audit Plan and compile Audit Reports with associated evidences to substantiate any findings and that Root Causes and Corrective Actions are attended to within the timeframe allocated.
- Review, interpret, and monitor evolving regulatory and industry requirements (EASA Air Ops, IOSA, SCAA) and ensure all operational documentation and departmental manuals (OM-A/B/C/D/E, OCM, and related publications) are updated, revised, and maintained in full compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
- Management of safety reporting workflows, including event classification, analysis, and escalation, ensuring timely and accurate safety data processing.
- Lead and drive regular reviews of Operations’ Compliance Monitoring and safety for scope assigned to identify non compliance, undesirable trends and drive compliance & safety with company and regulatory requirements and targets.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
- Degree in Aviation, Safety, Quality, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Training in EASA Air Ops, IOSA, SMS, Quality/Compliance Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Airline Operations in a senior/ manager position.
- Regulatory and compliance knowledge (EASA, IOSA, SCAA).
- Excellent analytical and investigation skills.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and report-writing abilities.
- High level of organizational discipline and attention to detail.
- Ability to influence and drive safety and compliance culture.
