Job Description
Purpose of the Role
The Customer Sales Representative (CSR) will provide sales and customer service support across Zane Holdings Limited commercial operations for DStv and The Home Electronics Shop divisions. The role is designed to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and ensure business continuity across both service lines.
The CSR will be cross-trained to handle customer interactions, product sales, account management, and after-sales support for both DStv and Home Electronics products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Promote and sell DStv products, subscriptions, and upgrades to new and existing customers.
- Assist walk-in customers in the Home Electronics shop with product selection, demonstrations, and quotations.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Handle customer account renewals, reconnections, and payments.
- Cross-sell products and services to maximize revenue opportunities across both divisions.
Customer Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide accurate information on products, pricing, and promotions.
- Log and follow up on customer complaints, technical escalations, or product returns in line with company policies.
- Support customers with warranty claims and coordinate with the technical and procurement teams where necessary.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Maintain proper documentation and daily sales records for audit and reconciliation.
- Support stock management by assisting with receiving, tagging, and display of Home Electronics products.
- Ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, and proof of payments.
- Support the Retail Manager in preparing daily and weekly performance reports.
Teamwork & Efficiency
- Work collaboratively with the DStv and Home Electronics teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide coverage for colleagues during absences, ensuring continuity of service.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a professional atmosphere at the customer service counters and shop floor.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a customer service or retail sales role.
- Proficiency in computer applications and sales systems (POS, CRM).
- Strong communication skills in English and Creole; knowledge of French is an asset.
