Job Description
High Level: Corvina Investment Company is a privately-owned, Seychelles-based investment company currently developing several projects within Seychelles, many of which include a property development component. The company is seeking a hard-working, conscientious individual to join a fast-paced environment and drive project success across multiple sites.
Scope: The Development Manager will oversee multiple property developments at a macro level, focusing on the overall direction and momentum of each project while coordinating various details. This professional will work closely with cross-functional teams, including contractors, developers, project managers, designers, and technicians, ensuring regular deliverables and milestones are met so that the company can achieve its long-term goals.
Leveraging technical expertise and knowledge of industry best practices, the Development Manager must guide project teams in making informed decisions and resolving challenges that arise during the development process. Responsibilities will include project planning and tracking, team management, feasibility analysis, risk assessment, and problem-solving.
The Development Manager will work alongside the company’s senior management team and must be able to manage meetings, budgets, and resources, ultimately reporting to the company’s board on a regular basis.

Job Requirements
Skills: The Development Manager must be able to think ‘big picture’ while also being prepared to delve into granular details, ensuring that project milestones are met.
The following skills and qualifications are required:
- Ideally, at least 5 years of development (or project) management experience on large-scale property developments, either internationally or preferably within the Indian Ocean region
- A BSc or BA in management or a relevant professional field
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal (in English at least, and French/Creole-speaking is an advantage)
- Ability to problem-solve under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other digital tools, including ERPs
