Position: Driver-Messenger
Responsible to: Head of Administration and Facilities
Job Description
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Administration and Facilities, the Driver/Messenger will perform full time driving duties for the Bank including but not limited to cash transportation, ATM replenishment, and official site visits. Responsible for vehicle maintenance services and safe operating conditions of allocated vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving the company vehicle to designated and pre-authorised points;
- Driving staff to various locations to install service/products or rectify any troubleshooting;
- Perform pre-authorised driving and other logistical duties as assigned by the Head of Department;
- Delivering and collecting of mail documents and other items;
- Maintaining the vehicle’s log/schedule and daily mileages;
- Ensuring the mechanical soundness of the vehicle;
- Reporting any problems related to the functioning and maintenance of the vehicle to Superior;
- Maintaining the vehicle in a clean, polished and flawless operating condition;
- Assisting the Department with obtaining information required from suppliers;
- Perform urgent dispatching in the absence of Messenger assigned for dispatch;
- Ensuring that in the event of accident, rules and regulations are followed;
- Binding and storage of bank vouchers;
- Packing materials received for dispatch;
- Assisting in retrieving records;
- Assisting in keeping record room/archives clean and tidy.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of 3 to 5 years driving experience.
- Valid Driving License 2 and 5 and clean driving record.
- Previous experience and skills in Defensive Driving
