VACANCY – DRIVER
Job Description
L’Union Estate Co. Ltd hereby invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of staff, goods, materials, and other authorized items in accordance with company standards and applicable road regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, goods, and materials as required.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery in accordance with schedules and instructions.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum Class 4 Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).
- A minimum of 2 years’ driving experience.
- Good knowledge of La Digue and surrounding areas.
- Clean driving record and proven commitment to road safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
- Honest, reliable, punctual and with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic literacy and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
