Financial Controller

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating the financial accounting functions and formulating financial policies of an organization
• Assess the financial situation and advise on the organization’s financial performance;
• Control the expenditure and taking measures to ensure efficient use of funds
• Preparing budget and management reports and overseeing the various accounting operations of the organization
• Any other related duties assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• ACCA Professional Level Member/Affiliate or equivalent Master’s Degree in Finance plus five years as Senior Accountant; or
• F1 to F9 plus the Professional Ethics Module and the Oxford Brookes University Research and Analysis or equivalent Degree in Accounting plus six years as Senior Accountant:
• Candidate with a relevant Advanced Diploma in Accounting plus seven years as Senior Accountant;
• Candidate with a Diploma in Public Financial Management/Business Studies or equivalent qualification in Accounting plus eight years as Senior Accountant.

Other Requirements

• Must be proficient with the Treasury Information System (TIS)
• Must be computer literate with basic accounting skills
• Must be able to work under pressure!!!!
