Job Description
Summary of Duties
The Fisheries Scientist is responsible for providing timely and robust scientific information on the biology and ecology of commercially/ecologically important fish species; the status of fisheries resources; and environmental factors influencing fishing activities. This is achieved through the implementation of applied research activities and projects.

Job Requirements
Education (Special Knowledge) /Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marine biology/ Fisheries Science/ Oceanography or any related field.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Diving Certificate and Knowledge of relevant fisheries assessment software is a plus.
