Job Description
Purpose:
Operate forklifts to efficiently load, unload, transport, lift, and stack pallets of goods in warehouses and loading bays. Ensure operations meet efficiency targets and safety compliance.
Top Accountabilities
- Move & deliver products from rows to loading bays per dispatch note
- Stack finished products, empties, raw materials, components or POS in allocated rows or store location as per instructions
- Operate Palletizer & Forklift using Best Operating Practices
- Ensure trucks are loaded within target time
- Monitor crates on conveyor & replace missing products before palletizer
- Handle pallets/finished goods, raw materials and POS with care to prevent damage/breakage
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment & workplace
- Drive PPE compliance & safety across all site activities
- Provide excellent service to customers & other departments
Job Requirements
Qualifications + Experience
- Basic education (Secondary School completion required).
- Forklift driving license (Class 7) required
- Ability to read, write and basic numeracy
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong work ethic, reliability & punctuality
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team oriented
- Strong commitment to H&S
