Air Seychelles is seeking a physically fit individual with strong dependability to join the Cargo team as Forklift Operator to operate the Forklift in a safe manner; move cargo from one place to another within the established boundaries in and around the cargo area, while ensuring that Company and Airline procedures, notices and instructions are strictly adhered to.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Cleaning of Air Seychelles fleet interior including but not limited to cabin, galley, lavatories, Flight decks and tidiness of seat covers ensuring security and condition.
- Performing cabin deep cleaning task as required, including but not limited to carpet, curtain and seat cover.
- Perform minor maintenance and restoration task of Technical Operations Facilities and premises as assigned.
- Cleaning of Air Seychelles fleet exteriors as per regulatory requirements and HM procedure.
- Perform any other maintenance tasks, such as grass trimming, high pressure cleaning around the Technical Operations facilities and premises.
- Cleaning and tidiness of Technical Operations facilities and premises as assigned.
- Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline.
- Cleaning and tidiness of aircraft maintenance equipment as assigned.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
- Graduate of a secondary educational institution*
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience, preferably in a similar or related role*
- Valid class 2 driving license with an accident-free record within the past two years
- Able to work competently under pressure and within tight schedules
- Possesses a safety conscious attitude
- Physically fit with good physical coordination-Able to lift/carry and maneuver reasonable load
- Satisfactory communication skills
- Satisfactory articulation of the English language-Able to read and understand work instructions, give and request information
- Mature, responsible, trustworthy and cooperative
* Or the equivalent combination of education and experience
