Job Description
The WASTEA Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and oversee all environmental, occupational health, safety, staff welfare, and sustainability functions across the Group, and associated operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Group-wide EHS systems, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and public health standards, while promoting a strong safety culture across all operational sites and staff accommodations.
Key responsibilities include managing workplace safety programmes, conducting audits and risk assessments, overseeing incident investigations, ensuring staff accommodations meet occupancy and hygiene standards, liaising with accommodation owners and regulatory authorities, and driving environmental sustainability initiatives across the Group.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree or professional qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field
- NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar HSE/EHS management role
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, environmental, and compliance standards
- Experience in multi-site operations is an advantage
- Medical or paramedical experience will be considered an added advantage
Candidates must possess strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple operational environments.
