Air Seychelles is in search of a GSE Stores Supervisor to manage GSE stores and supervises procurement activities to ensure that a cost-effective inventory management system is maintained and meets Air Seychelles’ requirements.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline.
- Manage and continuously monitor stock levels to ensure adequacy and timely logistical support to all store-related activities and that all work is coordinated in a cost-effective manner.
- Assist GSE Manager to identify low safety, security and and finance-related risks and escalate medium or higher level risks to appropriate management.
- Manages fuel stock and fuel transactions to ensure sufficient stock available at all times.
- Responsible to manage SAP (Finance Transaction System) for GSE store-related activities.
- Work with Manager GSE Workshop to prepare Business Cases for projects and expenses in GSE.
- Ensure that all stock items (consumables/spares etc…) are properly and immediately recorded, and data is updated efficiently in the computer system by GSE store staff.
- Responsible for the reordering of stock when at minimum level as agreed with Manager GSE/Head of Ground Operations.
- Manages all invoices and ensure they are processed and approved on time for payment.
- Attend GSE production daily briefing/meeting and deputize for GSE workshop manager when necessary.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
- Certificate in a related field, e.g Business Management*
- Diploma qualification in a related field, e.g. Stores Inventory/Business Management
- 4 years’ work experience preferable in a related/similar role, e.g. GSE Logistics & Store industry, with pertinent experience at supervisory level desirable*.
- Good understanding of Aviation Regulations concerning GSE.
- Complete understanding and knowledge of GSE Maintenance operations.
- Good negotiation skills with associated experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in technical matters.
- Excellent supervisory capabilities; Able to coach and Mentor staff at all levels.
- Good computer literacy, with competency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time management
- Good administrative aptitudes
- Possesses a safety-conscious attitude
- *Or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
