Air Seychelles is in search of Guest Service Agents to provide safe, secure and efficient customer service to passengers, whilst ensuring compliance with safety and security standards in compliance with regulatory requirements, company polices and customer airline procedures.

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Meet aircraft on arrival and guide passengers to the arrival lounge, including passengers in transit and at departure
  • Handle all passenger handling activities .e.g. Check passenger ticket, allocate seats on aircraft, weigh baggage, ask security questions,
  • Conduct boarding functions
  • Assist and provide special attention to passengers with special or specific needs- wheelchair cases, unaccompanied minors, passengers with young children, elderly, disabled, CIPs and VIPs. Escort them through the airport processes (immigration, customs, etc.), throughout the airport, and to the aircraft if necessary.
  • Liaise with relevant airport users in the event of delays for both schedule and ad-hoc flights.
  • Compile statistics, ensuring that all coupons are accounted for, and dispatch to Revenue Accounting and/or Customer airline representative.
  • Complete all relevant documentation as required and ensure are performed in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

Our Preferred Profile

  • Graduate of a post-secondary institution with minimum IGCSE qualification in English, French and Mathematics *
  • Excellent customer service skills/awareness- Formal qualification in customer service an advantage
  • Fluency in English and French highly desirable – any other foreign language is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Fluency in French and English preferred. Ability in other foreign languages a plus
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills- Proficient in handling upset or angry passengers, whilst maintaining a professional and tactful composure
  • Possesses a pleasant disposition with excellent grooming standards
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work well in a team.
  • Prepared to work odd hours, including weekends and public holidays.
