We are seeking highly motivated candidates to join the Seychelles Financial Intelligence Unit in the above position.
Job Description
As the Head of Legal, Policy & External Relations, you will play a pivotal role in the Operational and Functional Management of the FIU to meet its Strategic Plan and Departmental Objectives. You will oversee and manage the operation and professionals’ staff within the Legal, Policy & External Relations Division. You will have the responsibility of administering the AML/CFT Act 2020 and formulate legal opinion, review and update policies for the FIU.
Lead on organizational compliance in ensuring the FIU’s policies and procedures are best practice, legally compliant and up to date. Lead and mentor staff in relation to performance, career development, progression. Ensure timely service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders. Formulate, implement and effectively manage the allocated departmental budget, ensure strict adherence to approved Policies and Procedures.

Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate will hold bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Law, successful completion of the Bar Exam, at least 3 years of professional experience in a legal department or law firm.
