Job Description
Job Summary
The Health and Safety Officer serves as the first-line supervisor for Occupational Health and Safety at the Academy, overseeing campus activities that may impact health and safety and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The role includes coordinating and monitoring safety practices and providing advice on risk assessments and policy compliance. The job holder also supports the Health and Safety Committee, promotes a strong safety culture among staff and students, and works closely with key team members to ensure a safe and compliant teaching and learning environment.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification/Requirements
- Diploma in Occupational Health or City & Guilds/ Certificate in relevant Field
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Health and Safety Field
- Good command of English/ French both written and spoken
- Sound health and safety knowledge
- Report writing skills
- Computer Literacy including of MS Office and MS WORD
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety techniques and procedures
