Air Seychelles is in search of one Housekeeper to ensure the maintenance and overall cleanliness of the Premium Lounge, whilst assuring optimal guest care is maintained at all times and to perform all housekeeping function in compliance with health & safety standards.

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

• Maintain the general cleanliness of the main lounge area (floor surfaces, windows, walls, furniture & upholstery, machines & equipment, décor etc.…)
• Clean the kitchen and store area in its entirety, which includes doing the dishes and cleaning the operating catering equipment.
• Responsible for the daily disposal of refuse.
• Clean the restrooms and replenish restroom necessities for guest use.
• Replenish the supply of clean linen/ towels for use in the kitchen and bathrooms and send all used ones to the laundry.
• Assist with the unloading and storage of goods received.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of information and articles come upon during duties.

Job Requirements

Our Preferred Profile:

• Graduate of a secondary educational institution *
• Minimum 2 years work experience, ideally in a related position *
• Good knowledge of cleaning products, operating cleaning equipment, and techniques
• Active and motivated with solid physical resilience- Able to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs), and able to reach, bend, kneel, and squat
• Able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals (whilst using the appropriate protective gears)
• Good command of the English and French languages
• Hardworking and willing to help
• Thorough with excellent attention to detail
• Pleasant disposition with a customer-focused attitude, and a positive ‘can do’ approach
• Possesses a mature personality- Reliable with a high level of Integrity
