Job Description
Job Summary
The Human Resource Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the HR function, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services in line with the company policies, statutory requirements and best HR practices. The role supports employee lifecycle processes, HR records management, payroll coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, confidential, up-to-date employee records in HR systems
- Support recruitment, on boarding and induction processes
- Assist with payroll preparation, documentation, casual payments, and gratuity processing
- Act as first point of contact for HR-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Provide general Administrative support to the HR Department
- Ensure compliance with employment act.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices is an advantage
Required Competencies:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication an interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
